The charity Annual General Meeting will be held by Microsoft Teams video call. If you've not used this before, please see the information below.
🗳 All Annual General Meetings involve election/re-election of the Committee Members.
✋ This meeting involves a vote on changes to our constitution (see below for details).
🎧 Please consider wearing earphones/headphones, especially if you will be in an area with background noise (such as children playing); this helps avoid interference and microphone feedback if/when you need to join in the conversation.
📼 The meeting will be recorded to aid writing the meeting minutes; the recording will be deleted after the minutes are agreed at a subsequent meeting and will not be made available outside elected Committee Members except in the unlikely event this is required by law.
I've not used Microsoft Teams, what do I need to do?
On the day of the meeting, click/tap the link you've received via email, saved to your calendar or with the button above on a desktop or laptop device with a webcam and microphone attached. When prompted you can select to run the meeting in your web browser and will not need to download or install any software. Follow the prompts to enter your name, allow your webcam & audio and connect. If the Committee Members are not yet connected you will be placed in a 'lobby' (waiting area).
If you need to join from a mobile device, you will need to download the Microsoft Teams app; it is advisable to do so before the meeting date following the instructions here.
